the greatest illustration or the simplest illustration is the complex doctrine of the Trinity I don't mean to say that the doctrine of the Trinity is simple but there is no place in the Bible that says explicitly God is one and God is three we must work with various texts of scripture bring them together to recognize the doctrine of the Trinity and affirm it now I'm bold enough to say that while we cannot comprehend the doctrine of the Trinity we must confess it and to deny the doctrine of of the Trinity is to put oneself outside of the Christian faith anyone who actively and openly denies that Doctrine cannot be considered a Christian
